Keeping You Safe
Nunny’s Farm is an interactive and inclusive experience
However, when dealing with animals we do need to follow some simple guidelines to ensure the safety of our visitors and wellbeing of our animals.
- You must ensure that children are supervised by a responsible adult whilst washing their hands.
- Do not suck fingers or put hands, pens etc. in mouths.
- Never give dummies that have fallen on the floor.
- Do not kiss the animals.
- Do not consume food or drink in any animal contact areas.
- Never eat food that has fallen on the ground.
- Always wash your hands after touching your footwear. Where practical and possible, clean or change their footwear before leaving.
- Expectant mothers should refrain from handling goats and sheep.
- When feeding the animals please ensure that you and your children feed with their hands flat. Animals cannot tell the difference between fingers and food.
- Please drop the pigs feed into the tube provided, as they have very sharp teeth.
- Always approach and handle animals quietly and gently and do not frighten or torment them.
- Do not climb on walls, fences, gates or animal pens or enter any animal enclosure unless invited to do so by a member of staff.
- Do not enter prohibited areas.
