Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards 2022
Here at Nunny’s Farm, it is no secret that we are passionate about the local community and providing fun, rewarding opportunities and animal education to the people of Grimsby. Our staff, volunteers and sponsors work extremely hard to create new and exciting opportunities for children and adults alike, so when we receive some lovely recognition, it really does make all of our hard work worth it.
This year we were lucky enough to be shortlisted in the Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards 2022.
About the awards
The awards are open to companies from throughout Northern Lincolnshire. They are open to all types of businesses, from small startups to established corporations. In addition to the awards ceremony itself, there was a drinks reception and a three-course dinner catered by Steve Bennett of The Lincolnshire Chef. Guests were entertained by both professional West End performers and local students performing an after-dinner show.
The Awards Dinner and Gala Presentation Evening was held at Grimsby Auditorium on Friday 13th May, and we are very proud to announce that Nunny’s Farm was the runner up in the Excellence in Community Award!
About our community work
Not only are we an open petting farm for all the family, we also have many events and activities available for a range of people throughout the year. For example, we run an autism hour on the farm every first Sunday of the month at 9AM. This gives those who are autistic the opportunity to come and enjoy our animals before the majority of the public arrive.
We also run a Mini Farmer’s Club which gives children aged 0 to 4 the opportunity to have fun and handle some animals, organised by a qualified Early Years Practitioner, amongst other experience days!
