Why volunteer?
Spending time with animals has been proven to reduce stress and lower blood pressure. So whether it’s cleaning our rabbits or mucking out our ponies, there is great mental stimulation for all.

Nunny’s Farm could not run without the hard work and dedication of its volunteers.
How can I get involved?
We have people working with us from all walks of life, caring for our animals, tending to our fruits and vegetables, gardening and helping out with general duties around the farm.
We offer training and guidance so that every one of our volunteers feels safe and confident while working at our farm.
Whether you love animals and want the opportunity to work with them, are a keen gardener who loves growing fruit, veg and flowers, or you simply want to give something back to Grimsby, then we want to hear from you.
How can I apply?
If you’re 18yrs or over you can apply for mid-week & weekend, 14 – 18yrs old (Weekends only), then we welcome your application. Volunteering with us can have many benefits from learning new skills, boosting your confidence and getting to interact with the general public and with animals to working in a peaceful, calming environment.

Work experience please email to Education@nunnysfarmcic.org with a covering letter containing your reasons for wanting to experience work at the farm.
